Yeti

As many of you know, we have a boxer named Yeti, or rather, Yeti has us.  He also has my sister, Jill, and her boyfriend, Brendan and their boxer, Virgil.  They are taking care of Yeti while Devin and I are travelling, and we could not do this without their help.

Oh, and by the way, Jill, Bren, Virgil and Yeti all live up in Juneau, Alaska and can see Russia from their house. 

Yeti and Virgil love Alaska.  We know because we Skype with them...yes, the dogs.  In addition to Skype, Jill keeps us updated with emails like this...

yeti likes to bring his water dish up on the bed with him while we're at work.


jill - "silly yeti, my bed is wet (three days in a row)".
yeti- "but im so comfortable on your bed that i figured i might as well bring my water up".
jill - "yeti, you're a dog, you're not supposed to go on the bed".
yeti - "jill, you're crazy".


I think we're all a little crazy.  For instance, Yeti is the only...one??...to receive a postcard from each country we have visited.  No kidding.

He had a lump removed from his head/ear a few days ago and while we're waiting on the results of the biopsy, he's playing frisbee on the beach and hiking in Alaska!  :)
